How to Play
Every game of Welcome to Crimson Hollow unfolds differently. The horrors you face change, evolve, and escalate — no two nights are the same.
Choose a horror to set the mood. Each theme changes how the game plays, forcing you to adapt your strategy to survive.
Use insight to gather items and avoid dangers, or courage to confront threats head-on. Balance your resources carefully as you prepare to fight the boss.
As you face your fears, the tension rises. Will you defeat the boss and reap the rewards, or will your opponent seize victory?

Welcome to Crimson Hollow is a passion project—built late nights, playtested at the table, and shaped by the kind of stories you tell when the fire burns low.
If you love deck-building games, tense choices and replayable thrills, we can’t wait to share Crimson Hollow with you.
- • The first “theme” we designed was The Sinister Carnival. Nothing gets more creepy than a clown ... or so we thought! It changed drastically after our first playtest session.
- • Our biggest challenge: balancing replayability with depth and tension.
- • What we wanted the game to feel like (campfire warmth + creeping dread)
- • The moment we knew Crimson Hollow had something special was when we were working on a different game that just wasn’t doin it for us then we moved to working on this one and almost immediately- we were hooked and bought in on making improvements.
